Celebrate October

As summer draws to a close and we slip into fall. Falls brings along pumpkins, ghosts, witches and leaf peeping (the act of driving to look at the fall foliage) Leaf peeping is especially popular in the New England states in the US.
Along with all this ArtFire has rolled out some serious new changes. Thanks to all those involved especially the programmers extraordinaire. ArtFire has a new front page, new sellers tools,

August...the end of summer

Yes... August is really here...already. It seems like just yesterday it was May with summer just around the corner. Sadly August is the month children are sorry to see , parents quietly rejoice and teachers dread. Stores have had their inventory sales, some even have winter coats out (yuck). This is when you take your children shopping for their school supplies, now days the schools kindly supply the lists before school starts and the local stores have your list. Much better than trying to fill a list after that first day of school so you can have it for the second day. The new clothes that must be fought over, moms and daughters do anyway. My favorite line was " but all my friends are wearing that "________" to school" (which has not started yet) You can fill in the blank in this household it was about shoes. How they all knew what everyone will be wearing, I have yet to figure out. This was before internet and twitter and they had not seen anyone yet! Sadly (not) those days done for me, it just means cold weather is almost here. But to give you parents a break, maybe something for you or maybe your are an early holiday shopper.... Here is a new coupon good for all of August...(drum roll) 61% off any item. Coupon code: augustdeal.

Hope you have a great day and Happy August!

Celebrate Christmas in July...really?

Christmas in July....what a concept. But I have really needed an excuse to shop. For me the simple abc's of Christmas in July are:
A) We try to trick ourselves into feeling like it is winter out (when it is 90 outside).

B) Reminds us that the holidays are less than 6 months away! ( I will still be shopping in December even if I start now.

C) To give you a jump start on holiday shopping...with a coupon deal, 50% off any item.

coupon code: christmasjuly

Now just sit back and relax and shop in the comfort of your home for a handmade gift.

And as always free shipping.

Come by and see us sometime.
